After losing her home in Hurricane Katrina, Jennifer Schmidt decided to use natural elements to create new pieces to decorate new spaces. She had always admired the beauty within the oyster shell and formed them into a tree shape for her table. Each oyster tree, much like the oysters they are made of, is unique.
